Quelle tenue porter pour un cours de danse ?

C’est une question que beaucoup de danseurs se posent. Cependant, la réponse n’est pas toujours évidente ! La tenue à porter dépend du contexte dans lequel vous vous trouvez !

Vous ne voudriez pas vous retrouver en tenue d’aérobic au milieu de filles en justaucorps !

Il existe 2 cas de figure :

  • Vous prenez des cours dans un conservatoire et vous avez une tenue imposée par votre établissement :

Dans ce cas, vous devez acheter la tenue imposée, souvent composée d’un justaucorps de couleur avec un collant beige pour les femmes, et pour les hommes un collant gris ou noir et un tee-shirt blanc. Les chaussons ou chaussettes varient en fonction du type de danse exercée. Pour une tenue d’échauffement à enfiler au début du cours, rendez vous dans les dernières lignes de l’article.

  • Vous prenez des cours dits “à la carte” et vous n’avez pas de tenue imposée.

C’est le cas dont nous parlerons dans cet article et aussi le plus délicat.

Dans ces cours, les danseurs ont la plupart du temps leur propre style de tenue : un bandeau sur la tête, un shorty et des grosses chaussettes… Mais son style vient avec l’expérience ! Alors, par où pouvez vous commencer ? Voici quelques exemples de tenues à porter lors de vos cours de danse.

Les tenues “passe partout” :

  • “La classique”, composée d’un collant noir accompagnée du tee-shirt de votre choix. A noter que la coupe ou la forme du collant peut varier en fonction des goûts. Attention, il est préférable de porter un collant moulant sur toute la jambe pour la pratique du classique.
  • “L’académique” Elle consiste à porter un justaucorps avec un collant de votre choix et éventuellement un shorty.
  • “La confortable” Composée d’un jogging, d’un tee-shirt large et d’un sweat-shirt, elle est parfaite pour le contemporain.

La règle d’or avant de foncer au magasin parce que vous n’avez “rien de bien à vous mettre” est de faire avec vos vêtements actuels. Car vos vêtements font transparaître une partie de votre personnalité et qu’on danse pour s’exprimer !

Il est toujours agréable, lors d’une journée pluvieuse, de commencer votre cours de danse dans une tenue bien chaude et confortable qui vous aidera à vous échauffer plus rapidement. Pour cela, il existe de nombreux vêtements à mettre par dessus votre tenue, par exemple :

  • Les boots, très agréables pour marcher dans le studio !
  • Les guêtres. Ce sont de grandes chaussettes à mettre par dessus vos mollets.
  • Les tenues d’échauffement. Ce sont des tenues complètes, qui s’apparentent à des salopettes, pour échauffer son corps rapidement.
